Ok crazy question, buy an 2020 Lx with 49,000 miles (no toy touch screen or Apple car play) or a 2024 Infiniti QX 80 sensory 12,000 miles with every option available each are priced at $65,000?

Nissan is no longer the same as it used to be. Then it’s a matter of taste. I find the Armada and QX80 f$ckly ugly. Whatever floats your boat of course.

Lastest reviews by die hard Lexus fan boys are picking the new Infiniti QX 80 over the lx 600

Can’t be worse then a couple hundred thousand V6 engines being replaced still can not believe Toyota let this happen!?
I thought you were going to buy that 2020 LX570 with sport package. That will certainly outlast most with some decent maintenance

Maybe I missed it, but what's wrong with your 13 LX that you feel the need to buy one 7 years newer? How about save $65,000 and keep and maintain what you have?

I know, that’s what I was thinking, that infotainment system is giving me second thoughts. I can add Apple car play for $1000, and I have had an LX for 100,000 miles, it’s been a good truck, but had the valley plate leak, the radiator replaced, have done all the fluid changes per the Lexus schedule and it worth between $21-24,000 dollars on a trade in…..the Infiniti receives excellent reviews, are made in Japan and are really discounted right now? The truck will never be used off road, it’s my wife’s daily driver.

Got you. Perhaps study the Armada and Infiniti forums and see how it does. Also drive it. Must say once you consider other big SUV’s, seems things start overlapping what the Armada/QX80 has to offer.

Another way to go is to thoroughly test drive the 2020 LX570 and look for all the things to look for on a 200, from operating all systems at the driver position to checking for rust, coolant leaks, AHC functioning etc etc. Make a list and check one by one. If all is perfect go ahead. I see that one does have Lexus CPO so you are covered for surprises. The beauty is that with 49k miles it is past any infant issue and is still at a good point to baseline, changing things like diff and TC oils, grease drive shafts, replace power steering fluid etc.

Do expect by the way that late model year 200’s have some of the issues resolved. I can see the valley (maybe it is poor application of the sealant, not totally convinced about that) and head gasket leaks can be contributed to overheating events related to the pre 2018 radiators.

Good luck, having to make this choice is a luxury problem. Take your time and enjoy it 👍
