I get the feminine vibe, although my wife, upon learning I was buying one, simply asked why I wanted an 80 year old mans SUV.

It’s been an ongoing joke and now I regularly have her stashing Werthers Original around the GX. It has let up some over the last year, but she enjoys pointing out ever GX we see and waiting until we can confirm or deny the elder man driving it. I’d say around Colorado, it’s been about 49/49 older gentlemen and soccer moms and 2% us cool cats. Definitely a stronger 470 crowd around here. Though someone in town has a built dark gray 460 I catch a glimpse of sometimes.
Mostly old people around my Island rolling in GXs. The primary demographic on my Island is old, so to be expected.

shh! Don't be spreading any noise about just how capable our rigs are!
Let those old people and soccer mom's enjoy their vehicles! That just keeps a back fill of nice, well kept, stock vehicles for us to buy when we blow ours out on a trial! :p

Let's hope these numbers are making an impression with the top brass over at Lexus on a new and even more capable off-roader for the next GX!
Really the only thing that I'd like to seen them do is have options for front and rear lockers, more under carriage protection (maybe even sliders) AND trim that darn front lip and rear bumper to increase approuch and departure angles. THEN they would have something worth taking notice of!!!

A rear locker standard would be huge.

Looking at sales numbers for my vehicle, 2013, I kind of feel like I have a "collectable" looking that the numbers sold that year! :p

It amazes me an 11 year old platform sells so well. 4Runner numbers are still real good as well.

I like this fact. The only thing they really need is more efficiency from their V8's and a more modern infotainment system. I loved my uconnect units in each of my MOPARs, so easy to use, fantastic features and a great screen + UI quality.
