I don't weld...do you? I guess that is the question....

If not, better to have Ryan do it.

No, but it's on my list. John does have the SST for pulling the bearing. The other thing I'd have to deal with is cutting the race off the axle without marring the axle itself. Not a big deal, just another bump in the road.

Thats right...the SST! I forgot about that. Well, it is doable then...

So, just let me know!

I've ran Second Mountain before and I would like to go. I don't have a Land Cruiser yet, but I do have a 1998 Tacoma 4x4 on 31s. Second Mountain is just fine for stock or slightly modified vehicles, you don't need anything crazy for the trail. There are a few large mud holes that I wouldn't drop into with a stock vehicle, but there is a bypass for those. If we started early enough, we could run Second Mountain down to 33, then over to Flagpole and then down into WV via 25 near the Navy installation to Brandywine for dinner.

I need to run home and check my map! ;) How early is "early"? Where's a good place to eat in Brandywine?

If you started around 11am, you could run everything I would believe. Route 25 is a dirt/gravel road that takes you down into WV and at one point it crosses several creeks. Brandywine has a great pizza place and BBQ place as well.

Any interest in doing Salt Shed (Dry River Run), Kephart, or Dictum Ridge?

Guys, this is still on assuming I get the new suspension on and the rear axle done this weekend. Is everybody still in? I'll come up with some specifics shortly.

I'm still tentatively in. We'll just have to see how bad gas prices are.

How many folks would like to camp out, and how many folks are daytripping it? Please let me know as I will plan around the majority. Thanks!

I'm up for camping out. Havn't been in a while, could use a break from the rat race.

I need to double check the schedule, but I think I am in. Will probably head down Friday and camp that night if anyone is interested. I have a Sunday morning comittment that makes Saturday night campouts very difficult.

I guess we'll be meeting on the trails real soon.

I am planning on going. Do not know if it will be a day trip or an over nighter. Where will everybody be meeting?

Excellent! Meeting place is TBD. If more people are camping, at the campground. If more people are daytripping, some place closer to the trailhead.
