That is stupid, your friend is an idiot. Docking a tail like that makes no sense whatsoever.
If you are going to hog hunt with Beagles, which are bay dogs, you don't need to dock their tails, as they won't go anywhere near the hog. Now, if you're going to use a catch dog, like a Corso, then you're going to want to dock the tail. That is, unless you want the hog to dock it for you.
Screw that dog. She started chewing up a bunch of stuff and barking at night a lot, so I found her a new home, which coincidentally, is the exact same home she had before I found her. She should be grateful, though - I got rid of her worms, ears, tail, dew claws, and uterus for her, and let her gain about five pounds in the process.
Poor dog was just stressing on what you where going to chop off next.
