Hey Graeme. Greetings from Malaysia. I want to ask how much is a kit for a turbo that is mildly to mediumly powerful and reliable? I do a lot of 6 hour asphalt road journeys (with quite a steep climb at a mountain range for about 40kms) and occasional offroading. My goal is to have a faster quicker response car to safely overtake whilst remaining rock solid reliable. So, i have a HDJ 81 1hd-t and was thinking to purchase another one with the 1hd-ft and drop that turbo in. but the HZJ 80 are much cheaper (2/3 of the price of HDJ) and if i can obtain somewhat similar results using the HZJ, that would be much more friendlier on the wallet haha

Greetings, so I couldn't quite work out if you have a HD81 (1HDT) and sell it to buy another or..?

Anyway, the 1HZ can be terrific, but the 1HDT or FT can not be beaten because in the end they work out less expensive when pushing over 480nm torque, no mods need to be done to engine and the inj pump and injectors have enough potential for over 650nm torque in std form. Overtaking..... no problem

Certainly - even Bad Boy 2 makes 24psi at 1700rpm

they will suffer ( performance wise ) if I had to run 'em at 3000rpm ( engine speed ) all day long .?

Custom billet compressor wheel, custom turbine and

Suit 30psi throughout rev range.

May in fact support comfortably over 300hp at wheels, but ill say 200kW (270hp) for now

I have just put a new CT26 turbo on my 80 series land crusier so have a CT 26 housing for sale all it needs is the new shaft and bearings =seals etc all there in box Im in Victoria Gippsland Can send / post anywhere !!

Yes Im here, just my web provider had a stuff up and took the web page and email with it. Just trying to fix it now. Theres only so many times I can wait on hold for 20 mins+ and then get hung up on though :-(

A mate just installed one of these turbos on his 105 series and had it tuned by you G.
Absolute turned this slug gutless 1hz into an animal.
Climbing up sand dunes- instead on down shifting for a lower gear and higher rpm just plant the go pedal anytime or gear and it eats.
I rate these things 10/10
