Well, that's some news. Good luck in the new endeavor. Who is taking your place?

Well guys take me off the list. I have moved on from IPOR and have a new job travelling for a new company. I will be making some more events but unfortunatly i will be in training still in OHIO during GSMTR. I am planning on being at the meeting next weeki. Talk to you guys then.

I will defiantly have room for Steve's smoker on Burls trailer.
(Heard it was a small smoker anyway. I could not resist)

Let's just say its an average size smoker and if you can't be nice no chicken for you. Is Burl coming ?

No burl can't make it. I was hoping to be one of the cool guys and bring a date but I guess it's like high school all over again.

Hello from Cali

Gentlemen

My family and I are moving to the Stafford area in May and will be driving the 100 all the way from CA pulling our little adventure trailer! It should be an epic trip.

It appears that this GSMTR might line up with the end of our trip. There is a possibility that we'll be in attendance at the beginning (13-14 May). Probably won't hit any hard core trails, but it will be cool to camp and get to know some fellow cruiser heads.

I will keep you guys updated. Either way, we are really excited to come out to VA and enjoy some trails in the Landcruisers.

Butch--great! Hope to see you there, and if not, then perhaps at a CLCC activity after your arrival in VA.

If you make it to GSMTR, look for us under the black and white CLCC banner with the club logo.

Implied task to whomever possesses the CLCC banner---BRING IT TO GSMTR!!! or pass it to one of us who is going!:flipoff2:

We are in!

The family and I will be in attendance for a few days... probably

12-14 May, wish we could stay longer, but it will at least be nice to link up with some future fellow club members.

Look forward to sharing a beer or 2!

Is everyone going to be ready!

I still have half my interior out trying to install some additional 12v plugs for the kids' DVD players and CB. I'm also waiting on some battery cable to wire up my M12k and maybe the second battery. I'd love to get some sliders put on prior but not sure that's going to happen. Other than that I'm ready! :p

Welding wire is great for wiring up a winch... since it is fine gauge wire it is flexible and has low resistance. Can buy it easily by the foot from welding supply companies.

Got the dual battery,60 dizzy, new fuse block, manual gauges, and one head light done. The 40 is ready!
Now have to replace the mirror on the tow rig my wife broke! Two steps forward one step back. :)

Work just freed up, it looks like I am going to be able to make this one. I will be leaving Wednesday evening and going about halfway, arriving Thursday noonish and heading home on Sunday. Planning on tent camping.
