Well gang in the next week or so I am getting a front axle kit for the 60, she is all worn out up there...I know there are several club members that are lookin at doin the same, Gabe and Steve, so I propose we make this a group effort. I'm lookin at the last weekend in feb or 1st weekend in march. I don't care where we have it, it's just cool to get together a wrench. What are y'alls thoughts?

lol if i can work it out to be there i would love to do it. 98 srg also want to do his so this would be perfect. Just got to see if i will be around or not.

Ok so far we have 4 needing to do this

If you've never done an axle rebuild now is a great time to do it, cause of something doesn't work you can blame it on john lee...so get your kits and post up

Ummm Steve, why don't you make this a work related event, is the 55 not part of SEO.... Document it and then you can tax write it off....I don't wanna hear no stinkin excuses juice box

I was thinkin about that Marshall

Hey juice I'll even make it more advantageous for you. Get the group buy from Kurt, mark it up 2 bucks, and we'll buy it from SEO and you get to record the sales. I know 2 bucks a kit ain't diddly but 2 bucks is better than no bucks.

I wish it worked like that...

Chuck pay an extra 2 bucks? yeah right

Why doesn't it work that way... We can even do the hamom in your parking lot behind your office so you can answer the phone....or you can just have John lee answer the phone....come on man give yourself a half a vacation day, get it done in the morning and then go work in the afternoon

Why doesn't it work that way? No offense Chuck but I don't have enough time to explain - there are tons of reasons. You can't just write everything off and $8 or a 2% margin doesn't keep a business in the black. An axle rebuild will take a whole day, plus other tenants need the parking behind my store.

I take vacation from work when I sleep.

Like I said, I wish I could make it but I do not have time.

A lil touchy are we this morning.....didn't make the offer for you to buy to keep you in the black, but to record it as a business sale....if you are in business for yourself and you use your vehicle for company use than you can write off pretty much everything, especially maintenance. And I was half joking about the parking lot, it was more of a - if we can make it work for you to be there then lets find a way....just tryin to help a fellow cruiser head out

Not touchy at all. Just explaining things how they are.

We can have it at my house, got plenty of room, an air compressor, a grill and plenty of room for coolers. Let me check on some things and we can firm up a date, can you get a hold of srg and see what his schedule is....if anyone has some wrenching on there cruiser they need to do and needs a hand, you're more than welcome to come...last time we did this we had a few cruiser projects going on.

I might go ahead and do one axle,,, I could probably do two but wont know until sunday if the new 87 60 needs a rebuild..
