I've had really bad luck with autocraft batteries, fwiw. At some point I realized a good warranty isn't really worth the tradeoff of such an unreliable battery.

Were they Platinums? I think the Platinum AGM is made by Deka/East Penn. I absolutely love the Deka AGM that I've had in my motorcycle for probably eight years now.
