Lots of pot holes and such here in Memphis, and the suspension regularly crashes against the bump stops in comfort setting.
Better in sport, but not Lexus smooth ride.

Are any of the aftermarket suspensions noticeably more comfortable than the OEM set-up for on road driving?

2013 with airbag rear suspension and adjustable shocks. All factory.

Wife drives it and it almost never goes off road.
I occasionally tow and like the airbags, but I'd be happy to ditch them for a superior ride.
Stock height OK. 1-2" lift would be OK too.

I have the Ironman Nitro w/comfort springs.

Depending on whether or not you put the spacers in the front, you can run 1-2.5" of life with a much improved ride. For the rear, I would do a Metaltech airbag delete with the Iromnan Comfort springs.

If you are keeping stock tires, I would not lift it or do a 1in max in the front to level it.

Ironman is running 25% off right now.

If you're not looking at doing the whole off road suspension thing, I've read good things about this:
Do a search on Timbren here on this GX460 forum and you should find some threads.

One more vote for the Timbren bump stops, front and rear. Active Off Road ones are a little softer than the SES but otherwise the same. Both are super easy to install and will smooth out the final bit of suspension travel. I also have Bilstein 6112/5160 which I highly recommend if you are looking for a mild lift and much improved ride, but that takes it from an easy evening job to a weekend plus alignment.
