Sadly none. The diesel V8 in the VDJ is actually pretty dirty and won't pass the clean air laws in Japan.

Thought that 1VD-FTV was pretty clean ( euro IV ...? ) how the things have changed since B ( the diesel B ) was produced right .. ?

It soooo sucks that we can't get those here......:bang:

My understanding is that the 2016 Prado with the new clean diesel meets Euro 5 for that market and also meets Japan emissions. The VDJ is just not clean enough for Japanese emissions laws.

Which engine it's having the prato 2016 there .?

Now they ( Mr. T obviously ) made the 1VD-FTV EUROV ( DPF ) will pass Japan emissions .?

Hard to say. The only Land Cruiser currently sold in Japan is the 4.6 gasoline V8 200.

The 200 series in Japan is 4.6? I thought it was 3UR 5.7 currently?

1URFE in Japan.

Was the 200 series ever 3UR equipped in Japan?

I have actually seen the 3UR equipped 2007+ Toyota Tundras there before (Been to Japan 5 different times since 2011) which surprised me considering they are obviously imports, LHD.

I want to add that I rarely see the 70 series in Japan, but then I have only been there two weeks each time I went.

Guess Japan the taxes and laws it's not the best environment for Land Cruisers .. and even if I realize that they are all about efficiency .. ( small efficient vehicles ? )
