Was just wondering if anyone could provide more clarity on the non-chrome grill used on FJ62's outside of the US?
I've seen them on some Aussie and Japanese trucks and they look amazing. Does anyone have a color code for that graphite color or a way to get one of those grills in to the US?

Not sure that color scheme was ever a factory offering. I'm no historian (someone else chime in here), but I'm willing to bet the chromed plastic was THE option, including the blacked out mirror housings in the photo...bet those are rattle canned.

I’ve attached a few more images from Aussie 62’s showing the non-chrome grill treatment. Was definitely available from factory on certain trim levels outside the US.

@Quadfather I have a gray grill coming for my non-US 62. Bought it overseas. The round headlight grill in the photo, not the square headlights.

Where did you find the grey grill and headlight doors!? I had a set saved on eBay that I missed out on.

The short answer is I know a guy out of country. He has a lot of OEM NOS. He is not cheap or fast in getting things in the mail.

The factory colour code for the grille is 153 Toyota Gray - I had some NOS Headlight surrounds checked and that was the colour that came back.
Legendary! Thank you. I'm thinking of stripping my chrome grill and repainting it in the 153 because the chrome is chipping heavily anyway. Appreciate the info!
