1988FJ62 dark grey GRILL PAINT

Considering removing & tapping-off the grill in preparation for repainting. I know many of us have preformed this project so the questions are: (1.) What brand paint and best matching grey-charcoal color have you discovered works best in this hostile location? ( 2.) Did you ruff the surface and, if so, use 000/0000 steel wool?

Red scotchbrite and a can of charcoal Steel-it. See my thread for pics.

I use 'Graphite' color paint (from any vendor). Dark and sparkly.
