A big thanks to Okie Dave for the free springs...now I just have to find the rest. I'm not having much luck locating stock replacement greasable shackles and/or greasable shackle bolts. I need poly bushings and greasable bolts or the entire shackle that all fit together.

Spector also has them! They are not too hard to find.

Not speaking from experience, but I have read that if you really get it on wheeling on SOA those pins can become pretty easy to break, but only speaking from research.

...Never had any problem with mine, mind you ("if you really get it on wheeling") I haven't jumped my truck over any cars.

I got some from trailgear, decent price.

Thanks. The reason I asked in the 1st place is because the drone I talked with at MAF said their shackles are not OEM direct replacement. And the other sites (such as CCOT) were so confusing I didn't know what to order.

I'll check out trail gear.

He's sort of right because OEM is NOT greaseable!!

I have had one greaseable shackle that has worn the pin free from the sides. It has since been replaced. I drive on some brutal roads in Central America though.

just keep in mind that if you grease the shackle pins, you'll want to use poly bushings instead of rubber. rubber + grease is not so good for the rubber

On My 60 rockcrawler (SOA on 38s) I used the long MAF greasables, called 4plus. Super strong. However, after only a year I have busted 3 of the 4 grease zerts off from wheelin'. On a trail or mixed use rig I would use these again, but on a rockcrawler I would save your money.

Of course OEM are not greasable. I know that. I'm talking about exact size, and I think the drone at MAF knew that.

pretty easy to replace the grease nipples..... if they are broken off beyond the hex-nut part (difficult to do!) then you can use an easy out. The good news is that because they are GREASE nipples, they tend to be well lubricated and come out easily. I keep a couple in my center console as I seem to snap one off every month or two. I suspect that it could be from rocks flying off of the tires on our gravel roads, but I guess it could be something else... either way, takes less than 5 minutes to replace a zirk.

I got the MAF greeze shackles too. Have not had the opportunity to run em yet, but Im looking forward to it.
My stock shackles and pins were WASTED!!! I had a hell of a time getting em out, cuz the rubber was fused with the steel pin and rust...It was at that point I decided to pop a lil extra for the greaseables...

Try Kurt at CruiserOutfitters!
He'll steer you right!

I bought mine from SOR 2 years ago hand thier still going strong. Heavy wheeling and dune jumping in pismo. If you look at the FJ cruiser video of Surf n Turf 2006 on the fj Site that's my 60 jumping the dune. Pretty proud of her abilities. She was doing better that many of the 40's who jumped. Didn't mean to highjack. SOR greasables are great, I would buy them again.

another vote for the ones from SOR. my FJ60 is bone stock and they have greasable shackles, pins, and poly bushings for stock height as well as lifted vehicles. it's been about two years and so far they've worked flawlessly.
