I pulled my crank pulley off to replace the timing cover gasket and seal. Crank pulley has some fairly significant gouging where it looks like something got trapped between it and the timing cover. The sealing surface is fine and the gouging is on the wet side of the seal so I'm planning on just running it as is after cleaning up the damage on the cover. Thoughts from the 2F experts?

Yeah, it does look like something got caught there that chewed into the snout... You might want to speedi sleeve and clean up the Cover surface...

The Sleeve is cheap if you use the Generic Chicago Rawhide vs the ones sold as for a Land Cruiser 2F ... There's a part # posted somewhere.

You also could have a machine shop install the sleeve.

Sounds like a plan, thanks
