Thanks JohnnyC! Long time indeed and hope you've been good. That's a creative offer you put on the table :hmm:. As tempting as that is I'll be keeping the Troopy.

Working on the 40 and will be installing new Wally quarter panels and selling once it's all back together.

Thanks Bear, much appreciated!

Hello folks,

I will be picking up a 2014 200 this week and the 100 is going to one of my kids. I am considering selling this HJ47 Troop Carrier again, as well as my 40, before the end of the year. Both trucks are pretty much done. I need a new project to build and the 200 should be a fun one.

I could use your help in determining a reasonable asking price for the troopy. It bid to $48k on BAT in '22 but did not meet the reserve at the time. I'd prefer to sell it directly vs BAT again. I am open to taking less on it now as it needs to go. What do you think would be a reasonable asking price for this rig?

Thanks for your thoughts!

As the owner of an '84 RHD FJ45 Troopy (restored but stock, yours is definitely a more advanced rig), I think a reasonable ask would be $40k-$42k. The market for the Troopy (as you know, some people are put off by RHD) is soft. I recently sold an FJ62 in excellent condition and the ultimate sale price was less than I had hoped. Just my opinion.
