and keep the bulb installed when you are testing all three A, B and C...I touch it at the metal prongs where the bulb goes right?
Huh. If you touch the 'jumper' probe tip to the other probe tip that is connected to the PS empty fuse slot it should beep...confirming that the DIMM is set up properly and working properly. If it beeps when you run that confirmation test, then go back and try point A again and see if it beeps.I can see what your saying, when I touch it to a nothing happens, no beep and no reading.
No worries. In that picture, it looks like you've got that 'tool' connected to the DS (the one that measured 12V on the very first test today)...for this test, it needs to be connected to the PS (the right side looking at it in the picture)...View attachment 1105175 Sorry for the delay I needed to solder something up to help me
This is with the the DIMM connected to the PS (right) of the empty Dome fuse slot AND the Dome switch at the headliner in the middle "OFF" position? So I turned my meter off and back on and it beeps on all but B
Beautiful. You get bonus points for being able to adapt in the face of uncertainty...that is a very useful trait to have...!View attachment 1105176 This little creation made this so simple!
Yes sir! Connected to the right and switch in the middle. I think earlier I may have made a mistake with the dome fuse, which side is 12v and which side is zero.
OK. that is the same as you did the first time...so then all these tests make sense (or they are supposed to make sense)...Just checked again, dome light is hot on the left and nothing on the right. And the cig is the same
