Hey Guys

I wasnt aggressively searching for a 100 yet, figured i would do a bit more research and make sure that i bought the right truck.

Well.... A friend of a friend that knew i was looking for one, called me at ass crack dawn this AM informing me of a super clean 99 for sale across the street from him in LA. What would any logical person do? Woke the misses up, tossed her in the car and drove up to LA!

Long story short, i go to look at it, and return home with it! :D

Still feels like one of those too good to be true scenarios where it just falls into my lap!

Color scheme is EXACTLY what i wanted, as is the rear locker combo

Stats:
-99 100 Series
-Charcoal on Charcoal
-98k on the ticker
-One Owner (car fax verified)
-Non Smoker
-Corporate lease vehicle serviced by Toyota every 5k (receipts backing it up)
-OEM Rear Locker
-Mint Interior

Here are some pics:

Holy crap, you scored!!!!!! That is one beatiful rig. Congratulations brother.

If you do a straight axle swap on the front I will have to kill you though, or at least come down there and take it for myself. :grinpimp:

Congrats Kevin..... very nice !!

John

Thanks John!

You will be seeing it @ your shop soon, check your email! :D

It needs some TLC (fluids, brakes, etc...) and my schedule isnt allowing that to happen anytime soon!

Thats a beautiful ride, congratulations. I need to get one for my wife so I can have the 80 (:

Drive the 100 before "taking" the 80! You might change your mind! :D

Cmon Mo, we both know you never venture down to these parts! :flipoff2:

I bet your loving that V8. Great color and how clean is that thang, sheesh!!!

I think this will be my next rig one day, when I am done with hitting the trails as hard.

Tell us about your plans for this thing, im sure you have some mods in mind..

Very nice and clean. Let the mods begin!!! :D

BTW Kevin...someone took some black paint to your license plates! :flipoff2:

how much did you get it for Mr. Secretive!

Dont you know that is a rude question to ask Dave? The answer would be even ruder! :flipoff2:

PLANS?

Well, it will be built for light/moderate trails, exploring and expedition stuff.

I am done rock crawling or heavy wheeling, just not my thing anymore, been there, done that! :D

Immediate mods will be (in order):
-DBA XS Rotors front and rear (it needs brakes big time)
-African Outback Load Bars to mount the teot
-44 Gallon Aux Tank
-OME Heavy Lift

Later Mods
-ARB Front Bar w/winch
-Dual Bats
-2m Radio
-Sliders

What no Baja Overland sticker yet????

Ha! Soon my friend, soon!

PS Did you send me the info on your sticker guy? I don't think you did?

I sent you an email with him CCed so you could contact each other direct. Probably got filtered out with all the porn you receive! :D

How is that rude? please explain that to me. You bought a car that was advertised on the street, not some top secret rig that was never made public lol I wanna know what a good deal is on a 99 with 96k on it. :flipoff2::flipoff2:

Very tasteful. There is something sexy about a moderate build, kinda more classy and keeps the essence Toyota.

I cant wait to be over heavy wheeling...I love modded 100 series, congrats man!

 This whole thing smells like another 80 member wanting a 100 series for expedition purposes. Watch out for another HUNDY build here!

Dave I call first dibs on your INTI rack - looks rusted though hhmm drop in price!
