we got a whole lot of cold rain down here in the big old AUG (augusta)... I WANT TO MOVE UP NORTH! i want snow

At 9:30 or so it turned to rain in Greenville which will probably start freezing soon. I have to go rescue the wife from work and take her home. She went straight through a light this morning b/c she was going too fast...luckily no one was around. The roads are probably going to get more slippery here until they thaw out later tonight or tomorrow.

:D

I am jealous... I want snow!!!

Just the pictures remind me of my well spent youth in Alaska.

it's a holiday

It was pretty bad...uhhh, that'd be good in cruiser talk ;)...going
in to Pickens this morning on a CVS run. Several areas I can always
count on to be slick. Picked up some T-bones and roast chicken for fajitas
this evening. Bones and left over steak will make great veggie soup tomorrow
with home made bread.
No cars in ditches. Bummer. Swiped one of Lynn's post surgery pain pills.
Took a wonderful nap after my quest. :grinpimp:
It ought to be interesting this evening if this slush freezes. I love snow and ice roads at night. No power loss. So far. (crosses fingers)
Boss says we can take tommorrow off too. Man, I love the south.

Yeah our Canadians that are in town this week said "We have a possition open if anyone wants to move to Toronto. BUT if you all call this a snow storm, you don't need to come up our way." One of the guys is from Winnipeg and he said that it was like -40+ when he left home and he couldn't believe that schools were announcing yesterday that they would be closed today.. "What? Schools are going to be closed? There isn't even snow on the ground."

Yeah, the South acts very different then the rest of the Country/World when we get snow...
