Yes,it's about time I got her started!!! Man it's been soo long since I have had my 40 running sounded really good, but I had to shut her off quicky.I still have lots of little problems:oil leak at the regulator(new gasket should fix it),leaking at the oil line to the engine block(I used that white teflon tape but did not have the fitting tight enough).Carb.is leaking fuel near the base,it's the throttle pin I think. Why would it leak there?

Throttle shaft bushings ecessively worn perhaps ? Congratulations on getting the beast to wake up !

Yea it's the throttle shaft pin, there is a primary & a secondary.I don't remember wich one it was.I am just looking a my manual right now.I spoke w/Mark(Mark's off road) today,he did not seem too concerned as I was pouring a little gas in the carb.itself to get her started. So I wil keep an eye on it.Ordered accel.,choke, spedo cables!

Mark is way cool.
John
