You can see the fuel pumping out of the hood on fire. Then when there putting it out it looks like muddy water their spraying on there. Crazy all around!

I kept wondering why the guy just didn't get out. No e-brake huh? Ohhh... And if there was only a silica substance nearby that they could have thrown on the fire instead of the flammable rag. Idiots.

I know right!!! Ohhh quick grab those oil rags and shove them into the injection port...that will stop the fire!!! That was a lot of $$$ that burned up... Do you think someone got in trouble. :D

And that someone had the presence of mind to make a safety berm at the bottom of the hill. Many of the spectators didnt appear to move out of the way very quickly when the flaming Patrol was careening towards them.

There is so much going wrong there it's hard to know where to start? The simplest thing would have been to back it down the hill as soon as the fire started? By backing up, the fire would have been fanned away from the driver, once on flat ground would have been easier to get out, closer to help, etc?:hillbilly:

A high performance car event and no one had a fire extinguisher? Took forever for the fire truck to get there and it only had muddy water?:hillbilly:

right before that, I thought I heard his mechanic say " fuel injection runs on really low pressure, so it don't need no stinkin hose clamp!!"
