Just got a new rig for the trail. I have been daily driving my 60 for about 2 yrs and finally have something for the trails.

As far as I can tell... here are the mods. I keep adding a few thigs to the list daily.

A big thanks to my buddy for hooooooooking me up with this thing... CANT WAIT TO WHEEL IT!!!

Specs
1970 FJ55

Roughly 2k miles on a sbc 350, 4bolt main, HEI, new ram horn manifolds, dual exhaust, dual jaguar fans, 4 core aluminum radiator
Holley carb (sp?) - soon to be replaces with a Quadrijec (sp?) - and eventually fuel injection

Rebuilt sm465, ott adapter to clocked dual mini cases, first case is 23 spline (final crawl 140:1)
Flat belly with FROR crossmember.
SOA on stockers & body lift
Full-width D44 front, shackle reversal, highsteer, 1 3/8" tie rod & draglink threaded with 7/8" x 3/4" FK heims, 4.10, Lincoln, square front driveline

Full-width 2003 or 04 Tundra rear, factory limited slip. 4.10
37"x12.5 BFG all terrains on 17" black rock crawlers

Brand new PRP seats in front.
Scout saginaw P/S
Red top optima.
Ramsey 8k
new calipers
rear internal cage
Ford shock towers
Rancho 5k on corners
1/4 sliders
SS brakelines


Some custom rust and rock rash :)


There is another parts rig that will get put in the FS section shortly (ie - rear window regulator, 2 rear window glass, etc...)

CruiserMax - I will get some more pics... its not to pretty right now but will soons be completed.

More pics to come... Actions shots will be taken on the Rubicon July 21st weekend!! We'll camp at Rubicon springs if anyone is in!!

Cool! Look out for Luke Porter. He has a sorta similar looking 55...

Yeah... my buddy built this thing and actually commented that the tires were spendy for what they were

Luke has a 55 with the top off, like yours.
Here is a pic of him on the Rubicon I shot a few years back. He had this cool swing out gate that had a built in propane stove and sink with running water!!! (via hand pump)

There are so many cool things to do with a 55!

Thanks... Yes, it does have the rear window and a working regulator... I have another parts truck that I am stripping right now.. it will all go up for sale very soon.
