New stereo arrived, will have to configure where this will go. Might build an insert to mount it in the iCrap console (coming soon from @mmw68) and moved Goss out of the shop to make room for @Mr Tibbs wife's 71.. Mounted up his step sliders as well.

Thanks again C & A

No we welded these on. I'll have the bolt on version ready soon...The floor pan was really close to the frame and couldn't get a u-bolt everywhere we needed them. So welding was the option.

No pics of mounts. Just a 4" plate welded to the 1.5" square tube slider arm and then to the frame.

J, can't wait to see what you come up with for the BJ71. Are you planning on following the front valance/fender line? will be very interesting.

K, I have 3 versions for the front in my head right now. First up will be a "Plate 'n' Tube bumpers that will follow the valance lines. Rear, I have 2 versions... one "Plate n Tube" to copy the front bumper and will have a double wide step.

Had to ship products and meet with my local steel supplier this morning so felt like playing with the 70 series mirrors when I got in. Made some rough gaskets.

Pretty nice and with the new gaskets the mirrors barely move with the 4BT compared to the Euro mirrors... The Euros will go in the boxes for a future build with a 2F or V8. I'll pull these off once the new die cut gaskets get designed and produced and replace. I like the allen head screw over the oval head JIS screw. I will be pitching in new screws with the gaskets ( customer choice- 316SS or Black Zinc)

Just and FYI--- Anyone that needs screws for the mirrors it is an oval head machine screw 6MM x 1.00 pitch x 30mm ;)

Next week I'll start getting the interior back together.

J,

They look good on goss! Did you need to sand on the back side of the mirror or does the gasket take it all up?

Gasket takes it all up. No mod to the mirror base itself. With the harder material I was barely getting a seat in the "V" of the mirror base. The new softer material has allowed for good seal now.

I meet with the gasket people next Thursday to go over expectations, materials, die, turnaround time and quantities.

They are simple Pete... Jockey Cooler with a 50/70' coil is the ticket... Can make this an all inclusive set up with a 65qt cooler and a 5# CO2 bottle... Pony will fit inside next to the coil and just add ice.. Run everything inside cooler and then remote locate the tap off the 1/4 panel, tailgate or ?? Just keep the line from the cooler to the tap as short as possible for colder instant serve..

Hey J, where does one acquire the parts ( tap) for this life saving equipment ??

Pete, search for kegerator conversion kits. They come in simple one tap to 3-4 tap versions.

Here is a pretty thorough set of refrigerator conversion instructions to make a kegerator. Just use a cooler as the refrigerator in the design.. Then add a coil of 1/4" or 3/8" SS tubing (approx 25-50', need to wind it tight). I've used copper before but gives off a "SPETHAL" taste!!

IIRC the keg coupler will come with a thd to barb connector for the beer output line. Just need to convert it over to a SS tube fitting. Pretty simple. Then convert from SS tube fitting back to IIRC a 5/8" thd fitting to the tap.

Thanks Shane will do. Yeah Goss will be finished up before the end of summer and for sale.. As well as the 40 and trailer.

Can't wait to move and get going on a new shop with a plasma table, brake and ??? whatever else comes out of my pocketbook.. New 60 build will happen as well. Crazy ideas in my head as usual...
