That bumper is growing on me Jason. I see a high degree of annoyance in the assembly so I wouldn't build that for me ...I'd just have you do it.
The tube work took some time and patience to make parallel on all planes... Please tell me that's not solid 1 1/2" plate caps. My back is already
threatening to leave me

Thanks Dave,

I'll be making a straight/angle tube version for a customer in a week or two.

That bumper weighs in at 76#s. The ends are hollow all 3/16" strap and plate. I add a top plate to the inside so the bumper so it slides right on to the frame and is stationary without any other assistance. Run 8 bolts and its done.. I can pull it on and off (including bolt and unbolt time) in less than 5 minutes, so easy..

Laid out the pattern and then took my mag drill and cut the 2" hole about 1/8" into the 3/8" plate. This allowed me to rotate the tubes but keep them ALL on the same center/axis point. Once I got the top tube situated where I wanted it I set up a laser pointer and set the top on the other side. The lower 4 tubes were eyed and tacked.

This bumper isn't for everyone, in fact -- maybe no one else, BUT I LIKE IT.. and will sport it PROUDLY!

Figured as much. It was too accurate to be a tack and adjust thing. It is cool and it belongs on a 60 as big as yours. It might be out of place on a complete stocker. Kinda like the original ARB FJ40 catchers mask. it looks terrible on a small 40 but cool on a 40 with 35's and bigger. Even better on a SOA

Got in a new door seal and love the fit. These will be going on the products "for sale" list..

Is this a one piece replacement or does it just attach to the original piece?

Those do look nice...they'll practically make the doors water proof....LOL. Bet it will help with the wind noise. Good stuff J.
