No, I mean it looks really good...but I see what you mean, it must have taken a degree of attention to find the right line, because it really looks nice!

One day...J...when I scrape the cash together...you'll be getting an order from SL!

Thanks SL.. Either my digital angle finder or my bender degree wheel is off by about 4 degrees.. doesn't sound like much, but I can tell IMMEDIATELY that It is OFF!

I played with the angle until I was happy and marked my bender dies for future bends.

Hmmm... I think I understand...the good ol' jedi mind trick...

Not quite sure, but is this the 'digital angle finder' you refer to?:

and the 'bender' degree wheel?:

Everything is "correct" in my "angle" world until the "Pappy" or JW Blue or Makers comes out of the cabinet..... or maybe its the cloud of cigar smoke skewing things.. :meh:

Either way...but it's nothing the judgment of an artistic warrior can't adjust for...probably...

I WANT THIS!!!

It's really fancy, but I guess Gin is really fancy anyhow, but it was the only thing I could find on short notice that fit the narrative...wheel....'bender' (giving it an element of escalation from 'digital angle finder')...I wonder if there's one out there for single malt Scotch...or maybe modify that one...maybe there's a write up here on MUD somewhere already for that mod...

Back to the bumpers.. Finished the tire carrier and a few other items on the rear. Got the tube bent for the front... that's tomorrows work though along with finishing the winch mount and some other things.

Waiting on a few specialty items to make the gas can swing out off the ladder.

Johnny-GLTHFJ60, I think this is what you were envisioning on the "tight" to the body tire carrier.. ;)

Cheers

I'm going to try for a 3 can swing out, but more than likely a 2 canner. Then the BBQ attachment and hammock poles for front and rear.. What ya think?

Finny, Won't pass emissions in Utah so, I doubt it would in Kali either. I'm headed to look at it this weekend.. 2200.00 is his asking price. From the pictures it doesn't appear to have much rust in the usual spots. I'll report back. Oh and its RED too...

I'm diggin' the sliders on the floor. Are these the type that are going to be offered for sale?

Rutrow Raggy!!!! Looks like J is on the hunt again! Hell at that price you could sell the NV4500 and SBC for that much and use the body/frame/everything as donners.

J, yes these are the ones we were talking about the other day. I am going to make these in a DIY kit, weld on and Bolton design. The DIY and weld on kits are available now. I still need to get the bolt on version designed and installed on a clean cruiser frame. Goss' frame has been modified where a bracket or two needs to go..

Greg, I was thinking that.... But here in WY.. We have no emissions or vehicle inspections... WOOHOO!

This would be a project for my son in law to be though.. He is the one that found it and asked if I'd go look for him.. I'll end up doing most of the work though..

J, maybe you mentioned you will incorporate this and I missed it... but after getting the idea from my good friend Ali I fabbed a flip up table on my Slee swing arm. I've mounted a couple to hunting friend's trucks and its one of the more used accessories.

Maybe a nice optional accessory for the dirt camping crowd.

I was thinking about that yesterday... Sitting back at the end of the day drinking a beer.. Thinking of MORE THINGS..

THANKS D

Just a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum, welded to an aluminum hinge bolted to a bracket I fabbed and welded to the tire carrier. It flips up via a locking type gas spring...and stays down via another little ball catch at the bottom.

The nice thing about a flip up: No support wires to limit what you can place atop the shelf. The downside: It would be one damn tall shelf on a raised 60 with 37's ;)

Yes.. Mine is looking to be around 38" tall. Maybe I should do a 2 stage flip up...
Stage 1 for food prep, service etc...

Stage 2 for COCKTAIL HOUR
