For Sale Good deal or not?

I just bought a 2004 Land Cruiser, 1 owner, with 93K from a dealer for $16,600 + tax and tags. I think better deals are out there. Forgot to mention...I am in Colorado, looked for a couple of months on Cars.com for a clean Southern vehicle. I found this one in Florida. A cheap one way ticket, and a pleasant road trip back meeting friends along the way. Be patient, the right one will show up.

I agree with the two previous posts, that is high and you could find a much better deal (and one that hasn't been living in the rust belt) though you may have to travel a bit to get it.

Might want to try cars.com and craigslist. Autotrader is more expensive, because it's not as peer-to-peer.

I use NADA guides to judge. NADA says $17K (if this car was in CA). So unless this vehicle brings 4K to the table. I'd skip it. For individual buyers I usually won't negotiate, especially that much. Most people want what they want for the vehicle and they'll either wait it out or bring the price down on their own terms.

If its' been there since last fall, should be an opportunity to ask him come down quite a bit. I agree w/the others - price seems quite high.
In Feb. after looking for about 6 weeks, I paid $16,800 for an '05 w/150k, Lexus maintained nearly the whole time. Three owners listed, but really one - 10 years with the guy who bought the full meal-deal Lexus Maintenance Package (the moonroof had been recently replaced, AHC fluid swapped out 20k miles ago, and the Nite Vision even works (hilarious)). Certain I could have gotten a better deal, if I waited, but it was the color I wanted badly (Grey), and it had nobody else's mechanical issues.
