Costco WILL mount them if you take in loose rims, I always do anyway, cuz I drop them off and come back later. I did have to be a little insistant last time, they tried to tell me no but I talked to the manager.

Got the tires and they seem a little more aggressive than the stockers. :D

I will report back on how they really do. The compound feels very soft so probably would not be good for a DD.
 
Still works for me, they're going to be my wheeling set. Where did you get them if I missed it.

Discount/Americas Tire. They quoted me over 1500 at first but went back to them with my quotes from a local shop and Costco and they beat it bringing price down to 1230. The best thing was Costco and the independent shop said the tires would take 4-6 weeks. Discount was able to get them in 3 days.

Now get yourself over to IH8MUD - SoCal80's and get out on some runs so we can see what they can do!!

Yeah...been meaning to do that...but since you ask so nicely I should get my ass over there. :D

I will try the truck out some next weekend for the Calico Cleanup but nothing crazy since I dont have my sliders yet, and I wont have time since I will be picking up trash. Then I will be out of the country for March and first part of April I plan on going to AZROCKS with TTORA.

Maybe I can actually come out and start wheeling with you guys sometime in April or May. Should be some good times. :bounce:

I will be going to Calico as well. We might have a few of us Caravaning up. Feel free to post up if you want to join us.

On second thought I don't think I want to see those KM2's just yet. I only have 5k on my KO's and I already want the KM's. Seeing them mounted on a Cruiser will just make me feel worse while I wait the next 10 years for them to wear out. :rolleyes: :D

I'm sure we can find a way to wear those things out quicker. Get out there and wheel it more often!

To make you feel better I will be looking at your rig wanting those bumpers, sliders, skids, Mohaves, air.........

As far as caravaning up, I will be leaving Vista about 6 with a FJC and meeting up with Darwalk in Murrieta. If some of you wanna meet somewhere along the 15 that would be cool.
