Going to Marlin's

I'm on my way to Marlin's for an axle kit. I'll be headed back to Hanford afterwards if anyone has any orders they need picked up.

Yep, they started that a few years back. Extended hours 4 days a week, then closed Fridays to attend weekend events, such as Rubithon this weekend.

Well anyway their is a guy there named Dave that got a LC80 and I heard they are working on it to go to Moab this year... if you see it will you give a update report on it. I was talking with Marlin at the CA4WD Assoc. in Visalia earlier this year. He was talking about making some sliders etc. for it.

That would be nice. Would save a lot of money on shipping. I'm headed back up there on Thursday to get the stuff I need. I'll keep an eye open for it. This gives you guys more time to put orders in if you're needing anything. I'm going to Delano on the 4th so I can drop stuff off as far south as that.

Yeah. Got a message saying they had a higher that usual call volume. Nothing about being closed. Assumed since calls were so numerous they should be open right? Nope.

The website had a big banner at the top saying they would be celebrating the 4th by being closed an extra day. I talked to Marlin, who was there but didn't get back to me till later. He didn't necessarily know if they had any in stock, as he doesn't normally handle that part of things.

Yeah. I was up there last week, that's how I found out they're only open 4 days a week. I was trying to avoid shipping, I had to go to fresno anyway, so why not. I went to the site and didn't see anything. No big. I just really wanted to get this knocked out this weekend. I won't have any time until the end of the month now and I really don't want to drive it like it is. There was a guy in an 80 with a Slee bumper and roof rack sitting out front. Nice looking rig whoever you are.

If you can get through on the phones you can check to see if Marlin or mike are going to the next meeting. I'm sure if they are you can pay for your order and they will bring it down.
