This is me and my ugly mug in the drivers seat. Like the plain bob more than the pontiac aztec look. Can't wait to see the progress!

I saw a bobbed one at Cruise Moab this year that looked really good. It had a little bed w/ tool box in the back. Don't remember his name but I'm sure someone on here knows of it. I've got a pic of him here on escalator.

Section out the rear door and make it a two door like I did with my pig.

That is a sweet pig.

I like the 4 doors though so when torslinning is stuck I can at least give him a ride home.

What about like a little flat bed in the back? Ill try and photo shop something up.

Here is a little version with a flat bed. It is the bed that is off slees short bus. Kind of look like that but keep the 4 doors instead of 2.

I was thinking about making the bottom hatch solid but then make the top hatch so it can still open so when I am stuck in water I can get to the back with out getting wet.

I like bobbed and ute-backet wagons, but they have to be running a minimum of a 35" tire and, to really look "right", they need a 37". I've seen a lot of pictures of ute-backed waggys in AUS, many with stock to 33" tires, and they just don't look right.

I still think Podvins 100 series ute-back is the best looking chop of a wagon I have seen. Of course, he did not bob it at all.

Mine is on 35's right now im searching for 37's and saving up for them. Up here in the northwest all trails are tight and the last 10 inches or so see a lot of tree action.

Im going to search for podvins see what he did.

Going camping on july 11th and need the truck but after that the cutting will begin. I will try and keep up with pictures.

I am just going to bob it normal and then If I want to do something else I can. Going to do it like the blue 100 series were they took different sections out to make it look good.

Bobbed 55 w/ Tubed Rear

Here's what I did to my :pig: Big question for you is do you wanna keep the back open or enclose it? :hhmm: You could keep the rear top, after you cut it off, & reuse it as a camper top. I like the way Gumby bobbed his & the 1st photochop similar to his

build is under way just stripping the rear down. I broke my computer and doing this by phone so we will see if the picture works

Section out the rear door and make it a two door like I did with my pig.

Have you noticed the Toyota commercials with the green 2 door photoshopped '60? It's pretty cartoony and quickly done. It looks like they used a scout II rear window and top.

been working on it for a few days here and there. Got it all cut up and the passenger side is welded back together. Still lots of work left but thought I would give an update.

Im using a work computer since mine is still broke and cant upload pictures. I can email them to somebody if they could post them.

sweet can you go more

I did 7 inches i think the max you can really go without major work is 8 inches. I left enough room in the back so a 37" tire will lay down.
