Wow, I thought all the doors had 2 holes for screws?
I am guessing there was no handle on the glovebox door when you got your Pig?
You can see here where the handle mounts, I am guessing you will have to drill holes for screws:

Wow, I have only a vague memory of the screws that were in my old handle. I can take it off this weekend and get some measurements if that will help?

They fit the holes (obviously) and were suitable thread depth to make it through the glove box door...

@71greenpig - I took a few pictures to provide some guidance but after looking back at your pictures there is no metal backing on yours where the screw holes should be. 3 pics attached...these are from an Oct-76 mfg date piggy.

Yes, that is the ticket, 3/4" screws with OD suitable for the holes in the glovebox handle.
