Glove box doesn't want to stay closed (1 Viewer)

Hey Ratchey..I tried drilling a hole as well in the midpoint, about 1" up from the edge but no luck finding the bolt. Can you kindly provide exact dimensions of where you located your drill hole? THanks...

See if this helps. The holes are bigger than they need to be.

That is where the spring is located. Mine was not connected so had to access it to reattach.

Thanks to the forum once again for valuable shared knowledge here. I've had this exact nagging issue with the glove box door on my 2008 for several years, and now it's fixed in 10 minutes and zero cost. Brilliant!
