in a Black market Car yard in Phnom Penh Cambodia.
I have no idea what model it is..
all i know is that it is a turbo diesel powerplant and is a 4cyl

Of hand though, it seems to be a late '90's to early '00's model. It is a light duty Cruiser with coil springs. Not sure when the LD production was ended. It should have a 1KZ, 3.0l TD. Beautifull LC, it seems to be a VX spec looking at the rims.

Hi Paul, I believe that might be the last of the 3B motors manufactured, they ended in the 70 series by 1990 in Australia and Japan, in 1987 in other markets. In the 70 Troopy ( as yours), it ended in 1989. It was replaced by the 13BT engine.

IMO, the Troopy was intended for the hard working conditions, countries such as Africa, Middle East and Australia. Give us your VIN number and we could perhaps assist you.

The original 3B engine died in the hands of the last owner, so
the engine thats in now is a 13B from a Toyota Dyna, dont know year and mileage.

Very nice Orthodoc, really clean. I love the 13bt, I think u need some muds ! What is the spring rating of the OME, or did you buy the LC as such ? What difference is there in the ride qaulity ? In ZA it cost ± US$2,700 for the complete OME kit, just not sure that is worth that much ?

Hi benniebez, i dont know the spring rate, its an OME for LC70 BJ 70,71. 4 inches lift in the rear and 3 inches front.

When i got the unit it has the original stock leaf spring which already flattened, so i changed it.

The ride is stiffer since leaf springs are brand new and considering that body/chassis of 3-door LC is lighter as compared to LC 77, but its tolerable.

Its stiffer ride when im driving alone but if you have load at the back not that much.

OME leaf spring is much softer as compare to ironman both these brand are from Australia

I ordered it from ARB australia for US$ 1,000 that includes OME bushing.

Do you also have 13BT?
