For some of ya'll I ogt to do something techinical occassionally besides chat.

Cooler installed afte MIL said my judgment might be impared. Only 6 Guinness were consumed prior to deducing the second and best approach to mount this thing solo. Got R Done...<snip>

Guinness is a nice light beer for wrenching--good choice! I think the MIL's judgment is impaired.

Definitely want to see a daytime pic.

Probably didn't help that you told the MIL that you could teach her some new tricks :)

Daytime pictures, finally, been busy/lazy.

looks good. Good thing that bumper is a tax write-off. ;)

Luke, thats some crafty installation there; and i thought i was doin well to get the arb w/ 9k mounted on the taco by myself!! BTW I saw you pre-install mall cruzin at North Hills last week, rig is looking sick.

I've been looking for those oval (NH) and (CV) mall stickers to slap on the Cruiser. Just so folks know where the best mall scenery is;)

If you like Guinness in a can, you gotta try Boddington's - solid yellow cans. Unbelievable. Tech: The Boddington's has a trick pressurized capsule in it that won't deploy in the pressurized can. Pop the can, pressure differential becomes large enough to deploy the pressurized capsule - voila! - texture and taste just like it came from a tap.

Nice bumper, too.

guinesses have a porous ball also...
who came first the Guinness or the Bod?

:)
Guiness came out with that stuff back in like 93 or 94. Murphy's Irish stout had the same thing. As soon as the pressure was released from the can by popping the tap the CO2 cartridge let loose! I worked in the beer business after college for a few years and used to distribute that stuff.

Bumper: Cool.

Beer: There're about a dozen different "widget can" beers out there now; I aways try any new ones I see.

Oh; and it's spelled GUINNESS!!!!!

And it's Extra Stout, not Draught. But either way.

Extra stout is in the old style bottles; draught (pronounced "draft") is in the widget cans and the newer style (11oz) widget bottles.

The extra stout and the draught are completely different animals; different beers, period. I love 'em both though. :D

Tech: Either one should work fine as mental bumper installation lubrication.

I hear you, and thank you for seconding my favorite, the Stout. Though I'm drinking Black Hook Porter tonight. Thought I'd get foot loose and fancy free while drinking something besides Guinness for a change though I had Sam Smith Taddy Ported and Oatmeal Stout last time.

I need to get a job so I can drink good beer!

Oh yes, and buy a rocking bumper for my rig.

That bumper is just about perfect IMHO.

Lookin good!

My double handed rod might be reffered to as "prize meat". For ladies only!

I do wish this all weighed <7K... I cannot carry this much on my back.

damn bro nice rig.....i'm liken 89s more and more....

Nice work. Working alone certainly brings out the creativity when installing components.

Just outta curiosity was PSI do you run your SXs when on-road and off? I ran 30 on my last four hour journey north of KC and they had a high pitch kind of like the last five rows in a 727 rather than the radials of a B-29. On the trail they were between 7-8psi. Just curious because there aren't too many running the 36" SXs.

Oh, one last thing. With the spare on the back your potential clients can't see the REMAX sticker. Gotta keep it visable for all the wheelers looking for an agent.

Is this a bumper thread or a beer thread? I'm not sure.
I like most of your bumper, but wonder about your beer! I prefer basic barley pop when using heavy equipment. If I get buzzed, I might put 220 volts and 90 amps to my body. I still have all of my fingers because of my ability to restrain myself. I'll take cheap beer until the work is done, then break out the rum bottle. Then we play!

First off LukeO I must say I'm impressed.

Nicely done.

This explains much about MIL.

Also some other things.

Oh and for everybody else. Fawk dat little CO2 thingie or WTF ever it is.

SAMUEL SMITH OATMEAL STOUT!

but not while wrenching cause it'll hurt ya.......

Please skool me?

sorry couldn't help myself:whoops:

That's a "widget" and is found in the Guinness can and draught bottle as well. I prefer the chewier extra stout in the squat bottle (six pack). However, Guinness, while enjoyable, is a mass-produced beer like Bud, and is just BLOWN AWAY by so many other Irish/dry stouts. For instance: http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/TopBeersByStyle.asp?StyleID=22
