Something I forgot to say. I had a Fight with a HiLift Jack. I think I won but I have a few chipped teeth.

WHEN JACKING DOWN A HI-LIFT JACK MAKE SURE IT CLICKS WHEN GOING DOWN. I thought it had clicked but it didn't and the handle smacked me in the jaw.

I went too..

Nice 60. There were not that many 60's on the trails as I expected.

Nice dogs too.

Really?

When I pulled in Wednesday night, all I saw were 60 and 80 series. The 40 series began coming in Thursday.

I guess it really depends on the trails you took.

Yep, I think I saw a total of eleven(11) 60's in the camp and on the trails we were on. We don't get to play on the really hard trails like you big boys. The 80's sure were well represented.

well back to fixing trail breaks. My passenger side park brake cable inside the drum was messed up and kept locking up the parking brake. I also had to order a adjuster do to the fact we really boogered it up on the trail unlocking it. I also think i have a intake leak now, I cant get the carb adjusted and it wont idle smooth under 900 rpm.

I'm glad you said we. How did it get boogered? I loosened it just like the other side. Are all your vacuum hoses plugged? Did you take the air cleaner off? that hose on the passenger side will cause that if not blocked.

Squirt ether or brake cleaner around the intake while its running, if there is a leak, it will improve the idle when you spray. That's a bummer but now you have (potentially) a chance to put a Remflex gasket in there. (and you can check the jpipe flange gasket while you are in there.)

i dont want to spray too much on the hot exhaust manifold. I am only pulling 10lbs of vac at idle so something is up. Darn the same its Header time.

I dont know what you did lol The gear where its tighten and loosened is pretty well messed up. I was having a hard time getting a screw driver to hold on the teeth, When did the brakes it wasn't the best of shape any way. and i had the air cleaner on hoping that would make a difference in adjusting it. Have I said before that I hate carbs.

No you don't.:p Once it's adjusted, you'll love it.

He just can't leave it alone.....:rolleyes: Darn kids... always have to mess with stuff.

Dad

(Funny story...... People thought MWALLS54 was my son out in Moab, and yes it is possible, but sheesh....)
