exrsa1.....what size tires u running?

33X10.50-15. They worked great. I had no rubbing and they stuffed really well in the wheel wells. With the 4.56 gears I have, and the 5.7 and the h55f, I am out of RPM's on the huighway, but was awesome for crawling around. If I can fit 35's, it would be ideal for my set up.

Ex, it was great to meet you and britklr and it was a blast running Hell's in the rain!

Trapper, it was great to meet you and your engaged. Thanks for the cans! It was a good one! Next year we will try hells gate...

Ok...good to know. I have a somewhat similar drivetrain.. 5.7 with 5 speed and 4.11 gears. I've been trying to find some 33*10.5*15 KM2.... still waiting for them to get back in stock. Seems like with the larger tire you would have decent hwy RPM range. with 31's I ran cruise at 70mph. I sometimes wish I had went with 4.56, but I have what I have for now and it's got to last for a while. Gearing works pretty good off road, we'll see what happens once I go with 33 tires.

Here is a video of me on Poison spider. VIDEO

I need to see why my fan shroud was touching. Thanks to Jim's work at SROR, the slider saved me from body damage when i slipped off the wedge.

Too bad britklr stuck his big head in there. I hope his pictures turned out good.

I think with 33's it would be ideal with the 4.11 and the 5 speed.

With that much engine and the 5spd you could run 35's...

I had much less trouble with the steep stuff than I thought I would and I have 35's and 4.11's with a decent running 2F.

33's will be great

In case any one missed it This was my Honeymoon. I could not think of a better way to spend it.

Nice vid! If your motor mounts are ok, then I'd chalk up the fan shroud contact to frame flex.

Check you motor mount on the driverside. If torn, it can allow the engine to sit a bit up and the fan can hit the schroud.

Yeah, I checked that last night. No separation, so it must just be flex. I do need to rework the shroud. It was not done very well with the 5.7 conversion.

Nice to meet all of you folks! Congrats on getting the rigs ready, there, and back!!!!!!

Hey Marco, Great to meet you too. I liked your rig. I will be on 35's next year. I truly enjoyed the trip. The overnighter was awesome and will do that one again.

I'm glad you sorted out your fuel problem.

It was good meeting you too. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions on tuning. I do have a copy of HPT so I can read files.
