What to do next???

Got the ok for gears from the wifey....just wondering if the money would be better spent other places at the moment.

1. Gears 4.88 goodness
2. Panhards adj. front/rear
3. Exhaust gettin' a tad old
4. bacon, put a down payment on guitar amp

The case for gears is...well would be nice to get power back, AND i have all the stuff to do the front/rear end rebuild/overhaul.

Panhards...well 4"+ dictates these need to be done...I *could* fab a rear mount but the front I'd have to buy...possibly another thread...:grinpimp:

Exhaust...possibly original...doesn't sound bad...but I can see deterioation on the muffler, prolly needs it from cats back...

thoughts? what would you do? Or bacon?

I was just in a similar situation. I really was ready to buy new gears since I had my bir's apart but then I bought a winich and rear bumper......

And after doing two birfield jobs in the last 2 weeks, I think it's going to be a long time till I get back in there for gears so they along with 35's are off my list for the next few years.

For the DIY pan hard bars it's what $200ish vs. the $800 for gears/birfield rebuild. So if your ready for a birfield job an have the money, the time is now for gears.
