It would interesting if there is some relationship between the different years. At 6'-2" I have plenty of room.... Or at least that is what I remember. The truck is on jack stands right now so I cant climb in to check things out. Mine is a 2000.

Interesting. I'm 6' 0" with a 31" inseam and there's just barely enough room for me with the seat all the way back. I do have to keep the seat low though. I wonder if there's more headroom in Rusty_TLC's cruiser due to the lack of sunroof... :hhmm:

Put me down for one. I'd take two sets if they fit the passenger side as well.

How in the heck can you have the seat all the way back with a 31" inseam? Man, I'd be on my tippy toes on the pedals. I think Dan's onto something with there being variations in seat track travel between the years. Paul also has a good point about seat angle. I drive mine in the bucket position - front up, rear down. Keeps me from moving around. Does make a longer path from hip to toe...

i am about 6'1" also with 34" inseam and have plenty of leg room, driving with the seat about level. i have the seat up as high as it can go though...i also took out that stupid food panel thing which allows me to stretch out completely on road trips...really nice

Not in the '06; my skinny pedal leg has just enough room to rest on the pedal, and my leg is still closer to 90 than I'd like. I wonder if foot length makes a difference? I wear 13w and that might contribute to the shorter perceived pedal space...

I hadn't thought of the seat angle back travel and will have to experiment, as I do tend to keep the seat low and fairly flat. There's just not enough head room for me to put it up before I start brushing.

All things considered I still wouldn't drive anything else. 10,000mi so far and still lovin it.

the dead pedal? That's actually a very useful tool to keep you planted securely in your seat when things get rough or twisty.

bracket for extra legroom

spressmon~ I am interested in the bracket that allows the driver's seat to go back further, provided that the install is simple and straightforward. (no drilling or grinding on the factory parts??). Post a picture of the custom brackets and install instructions.

I am 6'4", and I could use an extra couple inches of driver legroom in my 2000 LC.

funny how at the same height and same year cruiser, we can be different.

Honestly, while it would be nice to just stretch out, the B-pillar starts to get in the way. Its already pretty close to my temple. The 100, while better than the 80, just isn't too "tall-friendly".

in order to fit in, I have to drop the back of the seat all the way down, and recline the backrest slightly. It would be nice to have a more 'upright' driving position without hitting my knees on the steering wheel. spressmon's adapter might be just the thing.

I'm not complaining though... the heated leather seats make it all worth while. The seat heaters are second to none!!! just wish the drivers seat went back about 1.5" further............

Drilling is required.

at 6'6" i need all the room i can get. I did the same thing in my 4runner, and its sooo much better now. The only prob is the wife who is 5'0" drives the cruiser daily, so i dont think ill be able to put them in since it will affect her forward sitting position (wow, sounds funny)...but a great product to have nonetheless....

i have 36" inseam but have plenty room in the LC. Oddly enough, I have even more legroom in my '11 tacoma. I didn't have enough in either my '04 or '10 Tundra.
