lost my cap up on Naches. My throat is 1 5/8 's or a little bigger. the 1 1/2 inch caps just fall out on the bouncing.

anyone have a source?

I DON'T NEED ORIGINAL STUFF, JUST A CAP THAT WORKS.

Should still be avail from the dealer. Last one I got was less than $10. By time you pay for any shipping, would be over 10 I would think.

I tried finding a locking gas cap years ago for my 68. The only ones I could find were too loose. Back then if I would have checked you could still buy the locking gas cap from Toyota. I was able to get one shortly before Mr. T discontinued them;) If you get a stock cap and it still isn't tight replace the the filler. Plenty of people here on mud should have a spare. The BJ and FJ25 soft top are the only cruisers that had a filler neck part of the gas tank the rest have a replaceable filler neck.
