So why do I find myself looking through all the ads for a landcruiser?
I think kt had something to do with renting one a few weeks ago in May. Is this a crazy thought or just normal?

No, you're crazy. We're all a little crazy but the real fun is behind the wheel of something you can grind on.

I recently had a nice "grindable" Land Cruiser for sale.

Do you know if it's been picked up yet Ted?

Well, I am thinking of a 100 or 200 series, I saw a 2003 100 series that is nicely built out in the classified.

100s and beyond are good for 1 thing... carrying your purse.

Well, Yes..... I agree with the width and a purse or empty one that is..... there is a nice modded one for sale on mud that I may be interested in, but I think my 4runner is still near and dear to my heart to wheeling.
I found a 2009 200 series available for a bit more than what I want to spend, and I am weighing a 2007 100 series as well.
Was looking for something more comfortable to drive on trips, etc.

Test drive a 100,200, and a gx and let them tell you

I've been collecting 4.10 diffs and gears for a few months now in preparation to convert both primary and both spare diffs over from 5.29's. Figured they're a bit stronger, a lot cheaper, and a lot easier to find in a hurry if I needed them. However, I just purchased a set of 5.29's that will eventually make their way into my 87 IFS DD and found out that Yukon has a lifetime warranty option now. If you buy the Yukon gears, you can spend an extra $45 on their Y.E.S. plan and never have to buy gears again. That being said, I think I'm going to round up all I have, including most of my current 5.29's, sell it all, and pony up for a few new sets with warranties.

I was on the fence between a 2007 100 with 85k for $22,000 mint one owner or 2011 200 with 85k for $37,500. The 200 had just unlimited power and made me smile like my wife's old V8 4Runner. You can not take your money with you, I bought the 200 and will never regret it.

nice! I am torn between another GX470 (parts match), a GX460, or a 200 for the next ride. Have to sell the avocado first. Think I might get a GX cheap and put my spare parts on it as my son gets used to driving.

I test drove a few GX460's they are nice trucks, if you go that route make sure you get the premium package with the real leather seats, KDSS, and crawl control. They are great, I have always had Cruisers and the feel of the Cruiser is just more tank like. My wife has a 2015 4Runner that shares many components with the GX460 and I have always been happy with it (with the exception of the anemic 4.0 V6). The GX has a great 4.6 V8 that actually has better low end torque than the 5.7 in the cruiser ( when you compare the torque to weight ratio). I will have 8 people in the cruiser this evening traveling to the airport and we could not do that in a GX.

Yeah. I want a 2010-2013 gx460 so I can fit a bumper easier. If I go that route. Loving my built gx470.

A little mouse told me you had to sell?Trade a 40????? Well????

Trade, made a deal with the wife. My next one will be a BJ43 diesel.

If you go to ACC in a month, you will see it getting a full restoration. The new owner is going to give it lots of love. Unfortunately I could not afford to have / keep everything.
