I’ve seen a few up but no harm in adding another. This is a GCC Spec FZJ80 so it runs open loop only. The only modifications include:

Pacemaker ceramic header (no cats but that’s is standard for GCC spec)

Iridium IKI6 5303 plugs

Unifilter foam filter from Australia

I had the vehicle dynoed to ensure it was not leaning out. I’ve read a lot about JDM, GCC ecu’s tending to lean in higher rpm. I have a Kazuma unit I purchased from LCH I plan on installing so having a baseline is valuable.

So an interesting turn of events....was happy with the dyno numbers but who doesn't want more. What I assumed was an exhaust leak has taken a turn for the worse. Just did a cold then warm compression test:

1# 30 no change wet
2# 170
3# 170
4# 60 dry 65 wet
5#165
6#160

Much different numbers from a year ago. I need to buy a leak down tester and rent an air compressor to further diagnose. I don't have any significant smoke or oil consumption. I knew at some point she would need a rebuild. Any suggestion for a good machine shop in the NOVA area?
