So, there are limited bumper options for Tundra. I cannot find a used ARB to save my life.

So, I'm trying to figure out if an ARB bumper from the 100 series will fit my truck.

What is the frame rail width of the 100 series cruiser? Its got to be similar, possibly the same.

Those of you who have an ARB, can you take bumper measurements to the corners?

Thanks

Are you specifically trying to find a used one? My brother had a ARB Sahara Bumper on his 01 Tundra so I know they make one...

I just happen to have this... and this is for the '03-'07 ARB.

They do make one, but the one for the tundra A, has that gay chrome bar, and B, I cannot find a used one anywhere and I refuse to pay retail on one.

Gahh! I quickly measured my rail width and its 37 inches! Bumper measurement should be about 76-77". It was raining and I did it quick.

I'm damn close tho. I'm thinking if I find one cheap enough, its going under the knife for new brackets and such.

For the money you'll spend adapting a 100 series bar to a Tundra you'll be close or above what you'll spend from a good vendor (read cheaper than MSRP) on a bar that was made to fit.

I just can't justify spending 8-900 bucks. I can find a used one for 250-350.

Looks like you found your answer.

Nick

LOL. Yep.

Thanks dude.

Where? Where can I find a used ARB bar for 100-series for 250-350????
I will buy one right now!
all I ever find is new for 1000-1100 :(

After a quick Google search, here is a used one for $600.

That is for a Sequoia, not a 100...Try again.

Once you find one, pay for shipping, and pay for modding, you are going to be at or above the cost of a new one.

EDIT: I see that it should fit the Tundra. I now understand your angle on this post. Sorry.

That Sequoia is Bill Burkes who does the recovery classes / videos all over the country? I like the Sahara bumper hoop in black makes it look much better to me...

There's somebody around with an SAS'd one. Its pretty righteous.

Yesss. No worries buddy.

I've got one that we are building for an '03 Tundra double cab. This pic is a rough draft, but it will have 2 tow hooks as well as a compartment for a winch. The thickness of this bumper is still up in the air. We are looking at the idea of using 3/16" steel or maybe 14 gauge steel to keep the weight down.

Hate to say it, but that bumper is hideous... Way too big. Any other opinions?

My first thought was - How much does that thing weigh? Looks ginormous right now. My brother had the ARB Sahara on his Tundra and I thought it was too big; especially when you see it in person.

I have another bumper that I'm mocking up which is skinnier on the ends and not as wide up front.. I will post a picture of it in a few days and would like to get your take on it.

Check with a local FAB shop, at the end of the day it will probably be cheaper than buying a used bumper, paying for shipping, and modifying it .

Also FYI
F= a straight six carburetor engine
UZ= a V8 injected engine
The 100 series did not come with a straight six carb AFAIK.

Most likely you were thinking of a UZJ100
UZ= V8
J= built in Japan
100= series
