Poll Important

I already posted this on another thread with the same subject. But it's just as important.

The news article has a poll button. It's on the right side of the page, under the image of the light house. It asks "Do you agree with the decision?"
Let's make our voice be heard.

I live about 10 minutes from the north end of Carolina Beach. I will say from first hand that rules are needed to keep the drunk redneck tourist from screwing up our beaches. Same old story of the morons buggering it up for everyone else....

I read the article. I didn't specify anything about the behavior except the driver acted without "due care" The link also provides a list of regulations--so much for the judges's statement to the lack thereof.

So are you saying that people back east should not be concerned with trail closures out west?
I think that the more organized we get, the more people say "Enough" our children may have a chance to enjoy the outdoors like we do. If we sit by finding excuses not to get involved, the radical environmentalists will prevail.

dude you read me wrong, in it being "local" i was referring to the FEDERAL judge that made the decision as opposed to a local judge who would have ties to the community and have had a better feeling for the locals feelings as per the poll results (63% disagree with ruling). i agree with you x10, we hang together or get hung separately.:beer:
