would the "assembly" of the rotor, hub, spindle nuts,etc... land in the same spots/measurements on the spindle?

Yes it will work fine

A minitruck IFS hub won't be the same. Offset on your hub looks larger, and the rotor is held on with the studs.

I think the easiest route is going to be to punch out those sheared stud holes for larger bolts/studs. Maybe source another hub for a spare.

hmmm... the mini looks like it would work if I ran longer wheel studs and different rotors (which I am going to replace anyhow). Looks like I could even pick up an inch on each side in terms of overall WMS to WMS.

The hubs will fit on the spindle, yeah, but rotor to caliper mount distance? Not sure.

If you're changing hubs, you have a large selection.

Yeah, that is the concern I have... I'm really tempted just to make the move to swap to mini truck stuff as it seems those components will be cheaper and easier to source in the future. I'm not sure if trail-gear is a bad word these days but the hubs/accessories they offer seem to be a good solution.

Nothing wrong with the Trail-Gear stuff. Their quality is much improved from years past and they have good customer service.

Isn't the 60 spindle longer than the 40 ? Or is it just the inner axles that are longer ?

I know the rotor attachment method is different for mini truck junk but if I went mini truck wheel hub route (easier to source around here) would the "assembly" of the rotor, hub, spindle nuts,etc... land in the same spots/measurements on the spindle? I ask as the caliper/bracket is obliviously in a fixed location to some degree and the spindle needs to be the right length as well.

Sorry my LC aptitude is rusty these days.

When i said this would work I thought you were referring to solid axle mini truck parts. IFS hubs will be much different. See @GLTHFJ60 picture for comparison of IFS hub and solid axle hub.

Lol, a front hub.. that actually fits the original builder's MO. He tended to think far outside the box. Mudrak and Butch Lewis corrected a few of his ideas after it passed to Henry.

I think the front disc spindle is the same 40, 60, 70/75. Part #s are the same across different models of that era. '85 mini spindle is also the same part #. Drum spindles are shorter.
