Great info! Thanks very much!

FWIW, you can get a quality Hub Socket for 1/3 the price of the OTC or Toyota from Trail-Tailor:

Rear Hub Socket
Got my rear full float tripod sockets today. From trail tailor @reevesci One for the truck and other for my shop. Some other goodies as well. Love that the knuckle centering tool comes with instructions!

Checking out these rough stuff flanges. Where they weld on I looks to only have a 1/2 thick of material that you weld to the axle tube. Has anybody welded little 45 degree gussets between the Spindle bolts? Seems like a lot of load to just weld a bead inside and out of the flange.

I could see welding gussets onto the flange causing warping pulling the flange out of alignment. The factory Toyota full float Spindle and flange doesn’t have any gussets although it might be sleaved. Done right I like the idea, if your going to build why not over build!
