Can someone tell me which is the hot wire in my pic?

I’m wanting to put it in a ‘76 FJ 40 that I am restoring.

If it were me, I would say this:

top plug:

Speaker + speaker -

Bottom plug:

Acc (Yellow Black stripe)

+ Power (red gray)

Neg (Black)


run a jumper from battery - to the black and a jumper from + to the acc and + Power. unit should turn on.

obviously, the hole on right is for ant.

you can get all new spade connectors and rewire the molex with longer wires.

The white/black wire is your ground. Power is top plug, speakers are the bottom plug. AM/FM Stereo. That radio is pretty deep, you may have trouble with it hitting the top of the heater.

I use a 86120-89106 from a 79-82 pickup, it is a bit shorter and fits well.
