Fuel pump ??

Hi guys on some starts when i turn the key over to ignition i hear a whirl sound like a fuel pump etc and when I start to ,but.not always this happens.Not sure if it's fuel pump or something else just changed my fuel filter to.

Don't have trouble starting or anything like that etc fires first go.Thanks.

Probably brake booster assuming your brake system is the same as US LX470.

Hi yes it is a US spec car.Brakes a fine no issues.

I have this same thing happening. Started car with hood open and was clearly coming from the brake system, you can actually see and hear the Denso part there vibrating. Is this an issue or likely future issue? or is this standard operating procedure for these things? part is original on 2005 with 242k.

I cant work this out to weither fuel pump or brake booster.

Fuel pump is in the rear, inside the tank and the brake booster is under the hood.

What a the signs brake booster is going to go ? and fuel pump.

The brake booster makes a noise anyway, it is normal. The fuel pump is normally quiet.
