It will fit but will have a return line to deal with... and beware of the spacer issue...

Recommend u just go to dealer and let them cross-check part numbers. I have a feeling the '80 fuel pump is not a plug-and-go pump. I believe the prior 1979 pumps were rebuildable and later pumps were not.

Do some research on this. My 1980 is really a 1979 (build 12/1979)and requires the sealed pump. The cut off date is approx 6/1979; lots of changes at this time.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll try the dealer tomorrow. What should I expect to pay for fuel pump?

If memory serves, its around $100, probably $125.

OK, I just looked into my rcpt folder; in 2003 the cost was 127.21; Stevenson Toyota [Denver,CO].

Buy one now. If every thing works, buy a few more.

I put an 80 pump in my 78. Works fine. I think I just ran a T fitting off the carb return line. You will need the spacer since the pump arm is longer on the later style pumps.

Good luck.
