Having the fuel pump recall done tomorrow on my 14LX in an area where they’re common.

I know they access the tank from under the DS back seat so I don’t think they’re dropping anything underneath. Is that’s all that’s entailed? Do they need access anywhere else? Under the hood/truck?

Pretty sure they drop the tank. Have to have less than a quarter tank if I remember correctly.

Mine wasn’t dropped and they access from under the passenger side middle seat.

They don't charge for recall work do they? Or do they sometimes?

do not pay anything. Takes less than an hour and they don't drop the tank.

Weird about the tank. They complained about my aftermarket skid plate. Then I told them there was a gas tank skid either way and they eventually did it without charging me.

Service went well. Dropped truck off at 0600 and it was done at 0900. Free full tank of gas too (was on E). No apparent markings etc on interior panels or carpeting.

They didn’t try to sell me anything extra which is always a positive in my book too. Even with the amazing Req’d reminder illumination.

They had a recently listed 2001 LS430 with 80k miles on it that looked brand new that I was eyeing…..

Had a loaner NX200. What a joke. 4-poppers are the sad reality/future.
