Howdy-

Trying to get some fuel into my carb, but I am not getting any. Is there anyway to incorrectly install the fuel pump? I have fresh gas in the tank, all hoses are hooked up, and so are the lines, but I am still not getting any fuel to the carb. Any way to check the pump without removal?

Thanks for your time-

Drew

what? No answers yet? Would that be a factory mechanical pump or did you go electric? Are the lines plugged?

If you're sure the lines are not plugged with some foreign substance, it could be you're just not successful purging the air out of the fuel lines... remove the tank cap, disconnect the line at the pump and add air pressure into the tank through the open cap (a hose to blow in and a plastic bag to make a seal on the fill spout can help... or a compressor turned WAY down so you don't blow the sending unit seal on the tank) until fuel starts running out the disconnected line. Reconnect and you might be good to go.
