GOOD LORD what a BEAST!!! Shipping must have cost as much as the car!!

G'Luck with the sale!

Wow huge BL batman!!! What is that 5"+?????

I might be interested in the body. Depending on costs. Looks like yo uhave almost paid for the truck by selling the drivetrain, tires and axles. So I guess the body would be $100 + shipping?? :)
I am interested, but would need to know costs, a way to get it to me, and some references or something, since you just joined here and started selling right off the bat.

From the location of the bulge on the dash I'm willing to bet that it is RHD.

This is just out of curiosity but why are you parting it out? It looks like a nice truck. Is it going to cost too much to make compliant?

All i can say is wow.

Why part such a beautiful example ?

It looks so damn good!

I'd love to own the thing.. but it's already in the US now :( pity i can't find and australian import agency that does cruisers like that!

Anyone heard from this guy? He joins to post up a rare truck that he is "parting out" And everyone goes nuts? He posted 3 threads about the same thing.

I would be very careful. Thats all I will say.
That and 4 steering stabilizers and a 6"+ BL! :)

Hi everyone, my name is Nathan and a newbie here. I'm also trying to find an HJ61 TD in England but are as rare as rocking horse poo. A reply to 89's rule check the website name that's stuck to the bullbar and you'll find it's for sale to the tune of $9,900 and mentions they are parting out. Also i've seen alot of nice cruisers here, and great website c ya later. Link is here www.tyeeimports.com .

Is That Machine Still Around? Why Would Somebody Do That? Part It Out Unless Everything Is Fubared. By The Look Of The 4 Steering Stabilizers Its Masking A Front End Issue

It was offered for sale in oz several times by Prestige Imports before the 15 year rule was changed if its the same vehicle.
I think it was about $12k AUD with shipping.

He's been trying to sell this truck on autotrader since late last year price started around 15000 and has been dropping...my guess is he's parting out to at least make some of his money back

He broke it (blew front birf and screwed it good, couldnt find parts I assume. Wouldnt work some kind of payment plan deal with me. Hence the partout. What a waste....

Parts are no problem...typical Mr Potatoehead Toyota. The only thing that might give him an issue is the long spline front side inner..if that is the problem...but those can be had too.
