Hi all -

I’m assembling my front seats, or rather, I’m attempting to, but struggling with how the seat back attaches to the bottom. I’m not sure I have all the right parts. Does someone have some close up detailed pics on how it bolts up? I’ve looked around and just can’t seem to find out exactly how.

The inner side of the seat has a bolt with a large shoulder that the seat back bracket slides over. What I don’t know is, does the seat back bracket slide all the way flush with the bottom? Is there some plastic washers in there somewhere to allow for the movement of the seat back?

So here:

Similar question for the out side that has the hinge bracket. The difference there is that the shoulder bolt is much smaller. But how does it attach?

I hope my questions make sense...

I took a couple pictures when I disassembled, but hard to tell exactly what is going on.

I have all the nuts and washers you see in the pics, except for what looks like some super thin plastic washers.

Quick follow as I’ve been messing with it. If I bolt it all up with the parts I have, there are some big gaps.

Washer tightens up against the shoulder, but the seat back bracket sits in the middle of the shoulder...is this right? Doesn’t seem right as the seat back can move side to side and is not solid.

I found this picture on the site...it looks different. Besides the obvious large washer (plastic?), what am I missing?

Similar issue on the hinge side of the seat, just not as big of gaps, but still there.

I’m thinking hit the hardware store and find some nylon washers to fill the gaps, and some thin plastic washers. But I don’t know...

Thanks. I’m still not quite seeing it, but I guess I’m just going to get some nylon washers to fit appropriately so I can snug things up nicely. I just don’t like how it rattles around back and forth right now. I know I’m likely missing some little washers or whatever, but as long as I can get it working properly, I’ll be happy.

I'm sure some spacers won't hurt. I know my tops didn't snug up there until the lower rails were snugged up and all in place - perhaps you might want to recheck that those are all aligned and there isn't some upholstery in the way. Tightening down those lower rails squared them up, and took out any slack in the uppers on the two pins.
